Holy Trinity Montessori, located in the Bellevue area of Nashville, is a non-profit school serving children ages 18 months through Grade 8. Founded in 2009, Holy Trinity Montessori's mission is to aid in the child’s intellectual, social, emotional, and spiritual development through the use of the Montessori Method, including the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Areas of academic study at Holy Trinity Montessori include all traditional subjects (such as language arts, math, science, history, etc.) as well as the arts (like music and art). We also focus on practical life skills and place an emphasis on learning through play and by exploring nature, which is why we spend time outside daily when weather permits. In addition, students of all ages practice grace and courtesy in our classroom communities. With the exception of toddlers, all students receive spiritual formation lessons through a non-denominational approach to the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Finally, a wide variety of elective extracurricular activities are offered on our campus. These electives promote personal development and align with our priority to teach the “whole child” and range from lessons on a variety of musical instruments to participation on a cross country or forensics team.
Holy Trinity Montessori's beautiful private campus sits on 37 pristine acres near the Natchez Trace. Our property includes a bubbling creek, gardens, fields, and wooded trails for students to explore and enjoy. We also keep and care for chickens and goats, who provide endless learning enrichment opportunities for our children.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3), Holy Trinity Montessori accepts and appreciates financial donations. Contributions to our Annual Fund help keep tuition costs as minimal as possible for our families and allow us to maintain a competitive salary structure for our staff.
