EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES:
All lead teaching positions require the following minimum qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree
- A Tennessee state teaching license
- Montessori certification for the desired classroom position preferred
Employment will be considered for the following classroom communities:
Primary (Ages 3 – Kindergarten)
Candidates should exhibit strong co-teaching capabilities and a love for working with children ages 3-6.
Lower Elementary (Grades 1-3)
Candidate should have a strong history of experience teaching this age group and enjoy working with children in this age group.
Upper Elementary (Grades 4-6)
Candidates should have a strong history of experience teaching within this age group. A strong proficiency in language arts curriculum is preferred.
Middle School (Grades 7-8)
Candidates must exhibit strong math and science abilities, enjoy spending time with children in the adolescent phase, and be comfortable in a co-teaching environment. Previous involvement or exposure to the Erdkinder philosophy is preferred.
