events at holy trinity montessori

Throughout the year, we enjoy a number of special events which have become traditions in our campus culture. Here are a few of our favorite HTM events.

  • Silent Journey

This event is designed to give parents and caregivers special insight into how the Montessori method works throughout all stages of child development. Walk through each of our learning environments and get hands-on experience with our materials. See the environments through the eyes of a child! Then join in on discussions, ask questions, offer feedback, and more. This event is open to all current HTM families as well as any guests who may be interested in learning more about a Montessori education.

  • art of whine

Art of Whine is our annual fundraising gala during which we raise money through ticket sales, donations, and auction purchases to add to our Annual Fund and supplement the salaries of our amazing teachers. This fun evening features live music, a world-class silent auction, a fantastic meal and beverages, and other surprises. It's the perfect way for families and friends of HTM to show our love and appreciation for our teachers. This event typically takes place in October or early November.

  • gift gala

Just in time for the Holidays, HTM's Gift Gala is one of our most anticipated social events of the entire year! Featuring the Ultimate Gift Exchange, this night out also involves fabulous food, drinks, and hang-out time with grown-up friends who like to score great gifts to give or keep.

  • world day

Every Spring, our Lower Elementary students spend weeks researching a specific country and preparing to take you on a trip around the globe without ever leaving Tennessee! Stop at various countries to visit famous landmarks, experience exciting celebrations, taste unique flavors and foods, and learn about the diversity that makes our world so special.

  • grandparents & special friend tea

Our students of all ages love this springtime opportunity to introduce their grandparents (or special friends) to their school and share a special teatime together. Guests begin with a short visit to the classroom to view some of their loved one's work, and then proceed to enjoy the tea before our Head of School, Kate Riley, wraps up the event with a special message.

  • end-of-year picnic

Each year we kick off summer break with a school-wide family picnic on the last day of school. Every year is different, but this day usually includes live music and a dance party, water play, games and sports, and other fun. We always look forward to celebrating the end of the year together!
